Following DCT’s incorporation as a SCIO at the end of 2022, NW Skye Minibus Association requested that the community minibus come under the umbrella of DCT, as its management was falling to a dwindling number of volunteers.  This process is now complete, and although there are a few changes to who can drive the minibus and how it can be booked, we hope the transition will be a seamless as possible! Huge thanks to everyone who has volunteered their time and energy over the years to keep this great asset going.

The minibus is available for local groups to hire, and its operation is priced based on cost recovery only and not for profit. The current fee is 80p per mile, which is invoiced to you.

If you would like to volunteer as a driver for local groups, or if you would like to be involved in exploring options for Community Transport please join the Community Minibus Working Group.
