The Scottish Coastal Clean Up (SCCU), along with Skye Beach Cleans have worked on a project to bring their beach cleaning boat to Skye in August and together with local volunteers, the aim was to remove as much marine litter as possible from, in particular, the more remote and inaccessible beaches in the loch which may have up 50 years accumulation of plastic and other marine litter on them.
